Lauréat de la huitième édition du Buzz Booster Ile-De-France, Simia tentera de remporter la finale nationale le 12 mai prochain à l’Affranchi à Marseille. En attendant, il présente son nouveau clip, « Tchala » !
À 25 ans, Simia est un rappeur mêlant textes poétiques, parfois engagés, introspection et exercices de style. Écumant les scènes parisiennes et montréalaises depuis près de cinq ans, jusqu’à la Bellevilloise en décembre 2017 où il remporte la 8e édition du Buzz Booster Île-de-France. Après les EP « Les dernières heures », paru en janvier 2015 et « L’4UB3 » sorti un an plus tard , il prépare actuellement un projet d’une dizaine de titres qui verra le jour à l’automne 2018.
Simia lâche un nouveau clip inédit, « Tchala« , produit par Yaska et mixé/masterisé par Sheldon de la 75ème Session. Dans ce nouveau morceau, Simia exprime sa volonté de réussir dans la musique tout en restant vrai, grâce à un flow énergique et sans extravagance, ce son est sauvage et teinté d’égotrip. Le clip est réalisé par le Studio Café Crème auquel il est fidèle depuis ses débuts. On comprend pourquoi tant les plans sont multiples, différents en format, en teinte ou encore en éclairage, et le montage soigné.
Simia se produira, le 02 juin à l’Espace Périphérique, lors de l’événement Rendez-vous Hip Hop Paris aux côtés de Ninho ou encore Saint Jhn (US).
