En septembre 2019, le DJ français Blanka s’envolait pour Lviv, en Ukraine, afin d’animer la soirée d’anniversaire de l’Alliance Française locale, organisée le samedi 14 septembre. Une soirée que l’organisation, pour célébrer ses dix ans, a placé sous le signe du Hip Hop (Ya Don’t Stop), en invitant quatre artistes spécialistes du genre, dont Pascal Luvisi a.k.a Blanka.
Blanka est producteur, réalisateur, ingénieur du son et dj, membre des groupes La Fine Equipe, Juxebox ChampionsetLes Fines Bouches. Des collaborations avec d’autres beatmakers, turntablists, musiciens et compositeurs, grâce auxquelles il a expérimenté et développé des projets musicaux jusqu’à gagner en notoriété, en France et hors de l’hexagone.
En 2017, Blanka sort un premier projet solo : Hypnotic, un album de 8 tracks mêlant sonorités électro et beats hip-hop.
C’est au Tram Station, une salle aménagée -comme son nom l’indique- dans une ancienne station de tramway de Lviv, qu’a performé l’artiste aux côtés du dj tunisien Walid et des ukrainiens Sempai et Fat 8. Pendant un DJ set de deux heures, Blanka a proposé une palette éclectique de sons hip hop mêlant funk, morceaux oldschool et influences électro, pour ambiancer et faire danser un public venu nombreux (l’événement était complet !).
