Désigné lauréat de la huitième édition du Buzz Booster Ile-De-France le 6 décembre en première partie du concert de Gracy Hopinks et AJ Tracey, Simia présente son nouveau clip.
Après les EP « Les dernières heures », paru en janvier 2015 et « L’4UB3 » sorti un an plus tard sur lequel figure « Neptune » et « -30« , Simia prépare actuellement son troisième projet solo, à venir courant 2018. Évoluant sur des productions à mi chemin entre boom-bap et trap, influencé par son expérience nord américaine (il a vécu deux ans à Montréal), le rappeur parisien s’appuie sur une plume affûtée oscillant entre introspection, regard sur le monde et entertainment.
Simia lâche un nouveau clip inédit, « Jumanji« , produit par QuietMike et mixé/masterisé par Yaska. Le son est énergisant, sauvage et teinté d’égotrip. Le clip est réalisé par le Studio Café Crème auquel il est fidèle depuis ses débuts. On comprend pourquoi tant les plans sont multiples, différents en format, en teinte ou encore en éclairage, et le montage soigné.
Simia a voulu faire écho au blockbuster américain éponyme en dévoilant son clip « Jumanji » le jour de la sortie du film.
